Girl commits suicide in Bandipora village | KNO

Srinagar, July 07 (KNO): A 20-year-old girl on Tuesday morning committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at her home in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 20-year-old girl (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at her home in Kehnoosa village today. She was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, where she breathed her last, they said. After conducting legal and medical formalities, the body of the girl was handed over to her family for last rites. Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the case, officials said—(KNO)
